Our client is looking for Head of Software Development to come in and build a team from scratch and further develop the current application landscape; based in Vienna, Austria.
We are looking for a technical lead/lead developer who is looking to make a step up into a Head of Software Development role. My client would usually promote from within but they are looking for cutting edge competencies from outside the organisation given the large application landscape and the fact a new team will need formed for the implementation. The ability to create your own destiny with the tech stack and team formation is down to you as long as you’re driving innovation and at the forefront of technology, we are flexible and will give you complete freedom in the area.
Experience Required
- 5+ Years Backend Development Experience (Java, Python, Golang)
- Deep understanding of multiple Back End Development languages
- Willingness to learn new technology / Has exposure to new technology
- Technical and Functional Team Management
- Decision Making Competencies
- Deep understanding of Back End Development languages
Nice to Haves
- Cloud Provider Exposure (AWS and/or Azure)
- Strong experience in rebuilding a team of developers
